On Wednesday, August 30, the Indiana Academy held its 2023 Club Fair. Many clubs were represented this year from sports to service clubs to crafting clubs and literary clubs. In case you missed it, here are five clubs that were shown at this year’s Club Fair!

Ultimate Frisbee Club:

Want to participate in a fun, low stress sport? Want to exercise while hanging out with friends? Well, Ultimate Frisbee Club may be the club for you! Ultimate frisbee is fun, easy to learn, and a great way to stay in shape. Timo Minnich said that the goal of Ultimate Frisbee Club is “To have fun and stay in shape while playing frisbee with friends.”



Philosophy Club:

Philosophy Club, run by Adah Gutwein and Sun Li, is a new club for all those interested in reading, discussing, and learning more about philosophy. As Sun Li put it, “Let’s pretend to be smart together.”




Tight KNIT Community:


Tight KNIT Community is the perfect club for you if you’re artsy, crafty, or just want a calming space to relax and be creative. Club founder Angie Schocke describes the club as “A community where people can come and craft as they please in a positive environment full of fiber arts.” People can use this as a space to both learn and teach different arts and crafts!


Key Club:

Key Club is an international, student-lead service organization. It encourages leadership and responsibility through service projects and hands-on activity. Key Club leader, Luna Turk describes it as a way to “Give back to your community by spreading kindness.”



Beta Club:

Beta is a service organization focused on building the leadership and communication skills of high school students. Beta provides opportunities for students to grow their leadership skills and participate in community service. Brody Chestnut said “Beta has given me the ability to be confident regardless of where I go and has taught me to lead by serving others.”
